Don your ghoul-iest costume, grab your tube and float down the Salt River during Spooktacular Halloween 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., July 16.
Cost is $15 per person or tube at Salt River Tubing, located in northeast Mesa about seven minutes from Loop 202 East on north Power Road.
This annual event draws thousands each year as monsters on tubes take over the lower Salt River. Costumes are optional, but the tubing company will award $15 tube rental passes for a return visit to the best costumed tubers.
In addition to the tubing, the Spooktacular Halloween will offer rides on Freddy Krueger's Fearsome Bus.
