Mesa police are investigating a shooting that left a woman injured at an apartment complex near Pioneer Park on Friday as possibly begin gang-related.
Police responded to the shooting about 1 p.m. near the 500 block of East Main Street.
The woman was shot in the leg as a group of males were trying to get into a nearby apartment. She was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
