Tom Bollinger, second from right, at the dedication of his Theodore Roosevelt sculpture
Sculptor Tom Bollinger of Bollinger Atelier in Tempe standing in the dip room of his foundry with a mocked up figure of a smaller version of a Teddy Roosevelt sculpture inside that will next be moved outside to a kiln where bronze is poured on it for metal chasing in the sculpting process. Last Friday, Bollinger was on hand in Dickinson, N.D. for the dedication of a much larger sculpture of Theodore Rooevelt he was commissioned to do for the Theodore Roosevelt Center at Dickinson State University. Bollinger now is preparing to make 100 smaller versions of the sculpture for a limited edition series as a fundraiser for the college.
