Gas prices for Arizona drivers went up a fraction of a cent last week, giving hope that the cost to fill the tank is on the verge of dropping.

Triple-A Arizona reports the average of gas was $3.51 cents. Tucson had the lowest average at $3.455 while Flagstaff was at the high end at $3.692 per gallon.

The national average declined last week by 2.2 cents to $3.665.
