Pinal County Superintendent of Schools Orlenda Roberts has announced the appointment of Dr. Georgia Lappas-Krohn to the Apache Junction Unified School District governing board.

Dr. Lappas-Krohn will fill the vacancy created as a result of resignation of governing board member Debbie Skinner. Dr. Lappas-Krohn will be seated until December 31.
