Andy Dick has spent well over 10 years trying to get his life together.

"I feel like I have slacked off. I have played '(fool) around' for far too long," the comedian said once in an interview, "and now ... I need to get my (life) in order."

Since making that statement in 2002, he's had his brushes with the law. Still, his scandals keep his name in the news more than his entertainment skills.

Undoubtedly the producers of "Dancing with the Stars" (returning at 8 p.m. EDT Monday on ABC for a 16th season) are hoping that a bit of the randy Andy will spice up the season.

He'll have competition, too.

Many of the cast members are looking for professional revivals more than personal ones. The other celebrities this season include singer Wynonna Judd, comic D.L. Hughley, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones, "Real Housewives" star Lisa Vanderpump, boxer Victor Ortiz, country singer Kellie Pickler, "General Hospital" actor Ingo Rademacher and Olympic-gold-medal figure skater Dorothy Hamill.

Dick, the 47-year-old father of two, hasn't had a blazing-hot career in recent years. Leaving an impression on "Dancing with the Stars" could change all of that.

During an interview years later, Dick was still looking for personal redemption, saying, "I feel like I have something to prove. I need to show the world I am not just this (screw)-up, and that I am still funny."

Other highlights for the week of March 17-23:

SUNDAY

-- "Shameless" (9 p.m., Showtime). Frank (William H. Macy) hits a new low when he pretends he's part of a same-sex domestic partnership so he can get insurance.

MONDAY

-- "The Biggest Loser" (8 p.m., NBC). This season's "Loser" is crowned.

TUESDAY

-- "Splash" (8 p.m., ABC). Celebrities learn how to dive and then go head-to-head for this new reality competition.

THURSDAY

-- "The American Bible Challenge" (9 p.m., GSN). This Jeff Foxworthy-hosted game show, now beginning its second season, could be named "Are You Smarter Than A Biblical Scholar?"

FRIDAY

-- "Malibu Country" (8:30 p.m., ABC). The Reba McEntire sitcom wraps up its first -- possibly only -- season.

SATURDAY

-- "Chupacabra vs. The Alamo" (9 p.m., Syfy). Erik Estrada jumps back onto a motorcycle to save the day against deadly legendary beasts in this horror movie.
