No cat could be sweeter than 3-year-old Avery, who always greets her humans with a happy meow. The folks at AZ RESCUE say she is incredibly affectionate and loves interacting with everyone.
Avery loves to snuggle and will take advantage of every available lap by hopping in, getting cozy, nudging for attention and then purring away. But she also enjoys playtime, especially if it involves a cat dancer, feather fishing pole toy, or any kind of wand toy. And she is an athletic cat who will amaze you with her jumps as she pursues her toys or chases the laser light. She loves to play hide-and-seek in her collapsible nylon cube toy too.
For more information on Avery, or other deserving animals, call Reducing Animal Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education at (480) 598-9410 or visit www.azrescue.org. The cost of adoption is $125 for cats and $150 for dogs, which includes spaying and neutering and some inoculations.
