Her sparkling blue eyes are the first thing you notice about Luna, a 3-year-old Tonkinese cat, but it’s her gentle and affectionate nature that will win your heart. Though she can be a little hesitant at first around strangers, the folks at AZ RESCUE say she’s quite the charmer and very affectionate. In fact, Luna will butt your hand to encourage lots of petting and ear rubs.

She also enjoys playing with wand toys, chasing balls or toy mice, batting at shoe laces and pawing at brightly colored pipe cleaners that are dangled in front of her. And, she gets along well with other friendly cats.

For more information on Luna, or other deserving animals, call Reducing Animal Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education at (480) 598-9410 or visit www.azrescue.org. The cost of adoption is $125 for cats and $150 for dogs, which includes spaying and neutering and some inoculations.
