Sailor, a male yellow Labrador retriever about 6 or 7 years old, had been rescued and adopted in March – but got out of his home and was missing for three months. Thankfully, once he was found by another rescue group, his microchip led to him being returned to Friends for Life Animal Rescue.

And that was enough adventure for him. Now Sailor is waiting at the downtown Gilbert shelter for someone who will give him a stable, secure and loving home. He is a nice, calm guy who loves walks in cooler weather but also loves lazy afternoon naps too. If you adopt him, be prepared to take Sailor shopping for some tennis balls. He just loves them.

Sailor is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. If you’d like to meet Sailor, contact Friends for Life at (480) 497-8296 or visit www.azfriends.org online.
