BeagleFest 2013 will be held on 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at the Ruben Romero Corporate Ramada at Kiwanis Park.

BeagleFest is the largest gathering of Beagles in Arizona and helps raise awareness of the breed and the rescue organization. This year’s BeagleFest will feature pet services, a DJ, vendors, contests, raffles and a silent auction. A parade featuring all the Arizona Beagle Rescue alumni of rescued Beagles will also be held.

The event will also have adoption opportunities.

Socialized beagles and other breeds on leashes are invited to attend along with their owners.

Admission is $5 per person; dogs and kids under 10 are free. All proceeds from this event go directly to AZBR to help rescue beagles from the kill list in the County pounds.

AZBR is also seeking volunteers to help staff this event. For more information about the event, visit: www.azbeaglerescue.com/Beaglefest_2013.html
