Greatest cooking show ever. No cursing, no humilitation, no diva's, no grandstanding...just honest, plain-English instructions. She was an "instant" hit when she appeared on the Los Angeles Television on KAET, CHANNEL 28. Her first shows were hilarious. They were done "live" and both she and the viewer never knew what was going to happen. She used beaten-up pots and pans and would usually end up with stains or spots on her blouse. She truely showed the "Joy of Cooking".
