Food banks brace for busy Thanksgiving

Edward Gately, Tribune Nov 21, 2009 - 2:49PM

“They usually start lining up between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m., even in cold weather,” said Bill Berry, the organization’s director of programs. “It’s really a sight to see.”

It's certainly the most exciting thing in the Smith children's world in "Meet Me In St. Louis" - at least until their father announces the family must move. The musical based on the 1944 MGM movie classic that starred Judy Garland follows the upper-middle-class Midwestern family as they face change and the dawn of a new century.
