Hanna and Tony Buford of Mesa hold their first born, “Baby Zeb,” at Phoenix Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Hanna delivered the baby Sept. 6 in an emergency cesarean section at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center following a procedure to correct a narrowing of her mitral valve that put mother and baby at risk.
