Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest

Erik ÒThe RedÓ Denmark, of Seattle, Wash., ate 29 hot dogs in 10 minutes and won the NathanÕs Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest Tempe qualifier for the second year in a row Saturday at Arizona Mills Mall in Tempe. Denmark along with Michelle Lesco of Tucson, who ate 21 1/2 hot dogs, both advanced to the final event on July 4 in Coney Island, New York. [Tim Hacker, Tribune]
