Cactus League History Museum in Mesa? An artist’s rendering of what the Mesa Historical Museum’s museum dedicated to the history of spring training in Arizona could look like if it is ultimately approved to be part of the component of the Chicago Cubs new spring training facility at Riverview Park projected to be completed in 2014. In the November 2010 general election, Mesa voters approved the city to spend up to $99 million for the facility that would include a miniature version of Wrigley Field, practice fields, shops, a motel and possibly a museum dedicated to the history of spring training in the Grand Canyon state.
