Powell Junior High closes

Powell Junior High assistant principal secretary Peggy Klinker is given a hug by freshman Omar Loza, 15, on the last day the school is open, Thursday, May 27, 2010 in Mesa. Klinker was selling old school sports uniforms to students. The Mesa public school first opened it's doors in 1971.
