Steve Patterson is new ASU athletic director

Steve Patterson replaces Lisa Love as ASU's athletic director after Love was fired on Wednesday morning, a move many believed was inevitable once Patterson was hired as chief operating officer and in charge of marketing for the athletic department nine months ago.
