During a ceremony at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Grace United Methodist Church in Mesa, six members of the Mesa District’s Boy Scouts of America Troop 451 are set to receive their Eagle Scout badges, the highest ranking honor that Boy Scouts can receive after fulfilling requirements and completing community service projects. Pictured left to right are: Former Troop 451 Scoutmaster Dan Vigil, Alberts Matthews, Bob Vigil, Jared Boscarino, Alex Scsavnicki, Ulysses Weatherford, Cameron Rusywick and Scoutmaster Greg Randolph. Within the last 12 months, Troop 451 has had nine Scouts receive their Eagle Scout badges and is celebrating its 45th anniversary.
