You may have noticed some unusual “construction” in downtown Chandler.

Three new works of public art are being installed during the month of February at 260 S. Arizona Ave., 201 S. Washington St. and 51 E. Boston St.

They’re part of IN FLUX Cycle 3, a public art initiative created by Scottsdale Public Art. Mesa, Tempe and four other Valley cities are also participating in the project.

Chandler’s art works are by textile artist Ann Morton, sculptor Craig Randich and mixed media artist Denise Yaghmourian — all from the Valley.

Their creations will be on display through the summer.

IN FLUX was launched in 2010 amid the economic downturn to install temporary art in vacant storefronts.
