There's nothing like a good ballgame. At least not to Remi, a mixed-breed dog who is to backyard ball-tossing games what Larry Fitzgerald was to the Arizona Cardinals last season.
This 1 1/2-year-old female can chase down a ball like nobody's business, and she'll happily do it over and over again.
On the sidelines, Remi's looking to be traded to a good home. Next to running drills with the ball, it's her top priority. But this 50-pound cattle dog/Shar-Pei mix also likes to snuggle and play with other dogs and older children. Rescuers say she's lived with a foster family and her house manners are impeccable. She also does well on a leash and in a car.
Remi shouldn't be housed with a cat, since she tends to play a little too rough with them. She's spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
