Celebrate that golden breed of dog, the golden retreiver, during the Bark in the Park event 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 29 at Tempe's Kiwanis Park, located at Mill Avenue and All-America Way.
The annual membership appreciation event put on by Rescue a Golden of Arizona will bring together families who have adopted through the organization. Humans and goldens will enjoy food and fellowship, with hamburgers and hotdogs for the humans.
Organization members can purchase tickets online for $8 per person prior to the event at www.golden-retriever.org. Tickets at the gate on event day will be $15.
