“That’s a good-lookin’ dog.”
When rescuers hear that comment preceded by a low whistle, they can bet someone’s talking about Mikey.
This male Weimeraner mix with a coat the color of thunderclouds weighs about 70 pounds and has a trim, muscular figure. But his handsome appearance hasn’t gone to his head; rescuers say he’s got a great personality. Mikey’s a young adult with lots of energy, which he’s eager to burn via play sessions and walks. (He adores walks.) He likes other dogs but doesn’t care for cats. He’s done well with children but probably shouldn’t go to a home with young tykes simply because of his size and exuberance.
Mikey is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on vaccinations. For information about adopting him, contact Friends for Life Animal Sanctuary at (480) 497-8296 or www.azfriends.org.
