Santa, Mrs. Claus and a cast of singer and dancers will deliver a sleigh full of familiar songs and yuletide humor in the “Sounds of Christmas” variety show.
The show is put on by Showtune Productions, a local musical theatre company headed by JR McAlexander, former music supervisor for the now-shuttered Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Mesa, and M. Seth Reines, the Broadway Palm’s artistic producer for 10 years. Showtune’s performers have performed on Broadway, in national tours or at major regional theaters across the country.
“Sounds of Christmas” plays at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Apache Junction Performing Arts Center at Apache Junction High School, 2525 S. Ironwood Drive.
Tickets are available for $20 at Apache Junction Chamber of Commerce, 567 W. Apache Trail, or $25 at the door. For groups of 12 or more, call (480) 980-4487. Information is at ShowtuneProductions.com.
