Christmastime is nostalgic enough. Throw in a brother and sister from the old “Osmond Family Christmas” TV specials many of us grew up watching, and you’ve really got a walk down memory lane.
Donny and Marie Osmond, the family’s most famous members, arrive Tuesday at ASU Gammage for a seven-day run of “Donny and Marie: Christmas in Arizona.”
It’s a new show the pair is taking to just three cities, on break from their usual stint at The Flamingo in Las Vegas, and just before heading out on a 2013 tour to the United Kingdom.
In Tempe, the first stop on the tour, the Osmonds will weave Christmas spirit into their trademark song and dance numbers, mixing holiday hits with the tunes and chemistry that made them international, chart-topping stars.
