If you’re as into the gymnastics portion of the Summer Olympics as we are, you’ll be excited to know the very gymnasts we're seeing on TV are coming to the Valley once the games are over.
Tickets are now on sale for the Nov. 14 "Kellog's Tour of Gymnastics Champions" at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale. Members of the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team – including Gabby Douglas and Jordyn Wieber – will join 2008 Olympic all-around champ Nastia Liukin in headlining the show. Other 2012 Olympians scheduled to appear are Jake Dalton, Jonathan Horton, McKayla Maroney, John Orozco, Aly Raisman and Kyla Ross.
Described as “a high-flying, dynamic experience that will celebrate the sport’s beauty and skill,” the show’s format will pair elite gymnastics skill with modern performance art that pushes the boundaries of athleticism.
