Two of the film industry’s most famous figures will be in Phoenix to present clips from and talk about their blockbuster movies.

Director Steve Spielberg and composer John Williams will host a concert Sept. 28 with The Phoenix Symphony.

Williams, a five-time Academy Award and 21-time Grammy Award winner, will conduct the symphony in playing selections from some of his most popular and iconic scores, including “Star Wars,” “Harry Potter,” “Jaws,” “E.T.,” “Indiana Jones” and “Schindler’s List.”

Spielberg will join Williams for the second half of the evening, presenting film clips from their forty-year artistic collaboration projected on a giant screen above the orchestra.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit Phoenix Symphony’s Education and Community Outreach programs.
