Hike to history on Hieroglyphic Canyon Trail

  I hiked this trail about twenty years ago. At that time there was no parking lot and the trail head was difficult to find. It is truly a beautiful walk. However, I would recommend that people, especially those not accustomed to hiking or Arizona's heat, should avoid the trail in the summer. If you do go please take more water than you think you will need and go only in the very early morning.
