If you’re daydreaming about a short getaway to Las Vegas this summer, you might want to save the money and satisfy your itch right here in the East Valley.
Several Sin City deejays will man the turntables over the next few months at Airia Nightclub in Chandler. Each week, the 5,500-square-foot club — which is adjacent to the casino floor at Wild Horse Pass — will feature a new party theme and a new deejay from S.K.A.M., an artist management agency in Hollywood and New York City. Its stable of talent holds residencies at top nightclubs in Vegas and around the nation.
Airia’s lineup:
June 11 - Mr. Choc (Little Temple, Los Angeles)
June 17 - DJ Cheapshot (Tao Beach at the Venetian, Las Vegas)
June 24 - Graham Funke (Marquee at The Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas)
July 9 - DJ Echo (SupperClub, Los Angeles)
July 15 - OB-One (Rain at The Palms, Las Vegas)

Each evening will feature $5 Svedka Vodka drinks, $3 Svedka shots and magnum (extra large) bottles of Svedka for $200.
You must be at least 21 to get into Airia, and the club commands a strict “upscale, fashionable” dress code. That means no baggy or torn jeans, shorts, sandals (for men), tank tops, athletic wear, gym shoes or baseball hats.
There is a $10 cover charge for guys and girls on Friday and Saturday nights. A free line pass, available online, allows you to skip ahead of all the other people waiting to get into the club.
Airia is open 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and is located inside Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino at 5040 Wild Horse Pass Blvd. For information, call (800) 946-4452 or visit www.wingilariver.com.
