Schools shun Kindle, saying blind can't use it

In this photo from Sept. 30, 2009, a Kindle DX electronic reading device rests on the lap of Madeline Kraizel in chemistry class at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Kraizel, one of 40 Case students randomly selected to get free Kindles, found it convenient to study with the Kindle during brief periods between classes without hauling textbooks.
