Bob Hope tribute show

Step back in time to when the entertainment was classy and funny. Higley Center for the Performing Arts is pleased to host On the Air: A Tribute to Bob Hope and Radio Stars of the 1940s. See the stage transformed into the NBC radio broadcast studio of the ’40s and get a look at how radio was done back in the day. An on-stage announcer will read vintage commercial copy with flair; old-fashion jingles will be played, and of course, you’ll see the Bob Hope tribute skit as he interviews famous movie star guests. Get all your laughs in!

Red Mountain Ranch Farmer’s Market

If you’re in Mesa this Sunday, swing by Red Mountain Ranch’s farmer’s market. Kicking off at 10 a.m., this is a great chance to stuff your car with locally sourced food and products. This market runs every Sunday until April. Put on by Double Play Produce & Farmer’s Markets, they can be seen at three Valley farmer’s markets, including The Plaza Fountainside Farmer’s Market and The Islands Farmer’s Market, as well as Red Mountain Ranch.

AZ Veg Food Fest

Get your veg on at the Arizona Vegetarian Food Festival this weekend. This festival is actually fully vegan and full of delicious foods that will make the strictest eater happy. The festival is like a glorified farmer’s market with locally grown produce for purchase as well as green organizations like Vegans Rock Apparel and B Naked Chocolates. Bring your reusable shopping bags!
