Last month, we were all headed to the mall to see Santa Claus. This month, we can catch jugglers, acrobats, trapeze artists and stunt men there.
Circus Vargas will host its “The Big One Is Back!” tour under a classic big-top tent Jan. 23-28 at Fiesta Mall, 1445 W. Southern Ave., Mesa. The circus will move Feb. 7-11 to Superstition Springs Center in Mesa.
The traveling show — billed as “circus with a touch of Broadway” — includes singing ringmaster Kevin Venardos, aerial artistry, daredevil feats, clowns and illusions.
