What’s not to love about “Downton Abbey” on PBS? There’s drama, romance, intrigue and a steady stream of clothes to-die-for.

Now you can get in on the fun by donning your best 1920s attire and heading to the Ritz-Carlton in Phoenix on Sunday, Dec. 8, for a 5 p.m. VIP reception (tix are $90) featuring live music, a costume contest, hors d’oeuvres and “Downton Abbey” giveaways.

At 6 p.m., VIP attendees — and fans at large (this part is free) — are invited to waltz into the hotel’s ballroom, where they’ll get to see the first hour of Season 4 almost a month early; it’s not set to air on television until Jan. 5, 2014.

The exclusive pre-screening is free but requires registration at azpbs.org/downton.
