As if a festival celebrating beer and barbeque couldn’t get any better, it just did: Rock bands Smash Mouth and Hoobastank will headline The Great American Barbeque & Beer Festival on March 23.
A dozen local bands will also take the stage throughout the day.
More than 30 barbeque vendors will serve pulled pork, ribs, chicken and brisket during the affair, and Radio Disney will host a kids’ zone with water activities.
The event runs noon to 10 p.m. at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park, at Arizona Avenue and East Chandler Boulevard. Admission is $10 for adults, and free for kids 12 and younger. For information, visit ChandlerBBQ.com.
