A battle of historical proportions takes place at Tumbleweed Ranch, where teams face-off in a chuck wagon cooking competition, preparing beans, meat, potatoes, bread and dessert in replica 1880s wagons.
On Friday there will be cowboy singing, wagon rides to the Arizona Railway Museum, and a youth pizza cook-off. The meals will be eaten and judged on Saturday. The $10 meal tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, but sell out fast. Winners will be announced that afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
