Cocktails? Check. Food trucks, music you can dance to, and giant Jenga? Check, check, check.
You’ll find them at the first-ever Chandler Craft Spirits Festival, slated for 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park, 3 S. Arizona Ave. Liquor — from bourbon and vodka to tequila and gin — will take center stage amid the music of a live disc jockey, a bartender cocktail competition, and a cigar and whiskey lounge.
“We’re shaking things up — pun intended — with this event in an effort to let folks know that there are a bevy of beverage options beyond beer and wine out there,” says Jennifer Lindley of the Downtown Chandler Community Partnership.
“There aren’t too many occasions where industry insiders and avid fans of Arizona’s beer, wine and booze culture can sample such a vast selection of spirits in one place,” she says.
General admission passes are $35 and include 15 tasting tickets. For information, visit ChandlerCraftSpiritsFestival.com. Tickets are available at Showclix.com; use the code “LetsDrink1” for a $7 discount.
