Museum goes kaleidoscopic for Odyssey Family Day

Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art invites families to take a magical journey this Mother’s Day to see the museum completely transformed into a kaleidoscopic wonderland.

All adults must be accompanied by a child noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 11, to explore SMoCA’s enchanting realms filled with colorful, imaginative environments inspired by weather and the natural world. Each dazzling room features unique arts and crafts activities where you might create glowing fireflies, chase after shifting rainbows, or summon the rain. A spectrum of lively characters, playful acrobats and aerialists, mysterious magicians and spritely creatures await.

The afternoon also features face painting, circus performers from the Circus School of Arizona (CSA) and tasty treats from local food trucks.
