Cowboy Action Shooting National Championship this week in Phoenix

Winter Range: Cowboy Action Shooting National Championship: Cowboy reenactors and marksmen from across the country and around the world gather for this seven-day event, which includes cowboy action shooting competitions and mounted shooting events.

Spectators can also see displays of western crafts, shop from vendors selling period costumes and antiques, watch a fast draw competition or trick roping and enjoy live music from a variety of western entertainers. Chuck wagon and other food services will be available. Event proceeds are donated to charity.

DETAILS >> 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, and Tuesday, Feb. 19; 8 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, through Saturday, Feb. 23; 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 24. Ben Avery Shooting Range, 4044 W.
