Head south and enjoy the last weekend of the Annual Apple Harvest Celebration at Apple Annie’s Orchard, where you can pick apples fresh from the orchard, enjoy an all-you-can-eat apple and pancake breakfast (served 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.) or an apple-smoked burger with homemade ice cream and pies for lunch (served 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.), not to mention freshly roasted sweet corn, apple cider and other apple-icious delights.

The town of Willcox has two letter "L's"...the East Valley Tribune continues to get this wrong. This paper has spelled Wilcox incorrectly over the years. Get your editors an atlas...or better yet...leave your cubicles and head to southern Arizona to see how the "other half" really lives!
