Q: When you eat out, where do you like to go?
A: I like to go to downtown Gilbert and the restaurants there. Several are my favorites, but I like the Euro Café (Romeo's Euro Café) and the Farmhouse (Restaurant).
Q: What are some of your favorite things to order at these places?
A: I mix it up over at the Euro Café. I do lunches there a lot, and I love his (owner Romeo Taus') Thursday-night dinners for ten. For $25, you get five courses, and you get to sit there with him and learn about everything. And you add $5, and you get wine pairings, too.
Q: Anything else that stands out about your favorite restaurants?
A: I love the omelets at the Farmhouse. I love the barbecue at Joe's (Real BBQ); I'm there a lot. I just love the environment in downtown Gilbert. It's a historic area, and there are no chains.
