On Sunday, Feb. 24, first responders — which include law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMTs — will be treated to a free meal at Famous Dave’s BBQ.

First responders can visit any Famous Dave’s location in Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert or Peoria for a complimentary “Two-Meat Salute.” The Salute includes two meats, a honey-buttered corn muffin and one side.

John Erlandson, owner of the Valley’s Famous Dave’s restaurants, says the restaurant appreciates first responders’ work. He hopes non-first responders will stop by, too.

“We encourage our community to come in and say thanks and shake the hands of those who protect and serve us,” says Erlandson in a release.

East Valley Famous Dave’s restaurants are located at 3250 W. Frye Road in Chandler; 2206 E. Williams Field Road in Gilbert, and 1011 N. Dobson Road in Mesa. For information, visit FamousDavesBBQ.com.
