El Palacio of Chandler is teaming up with Lake Havasu City’s Mudshark Brewing Company at 7 p.m. July 17 for a five-course beer pairing dinner.
Tickets are $20 per person and include five dishes paired with five hand-crafted beers: Mudshark’s Up River Lager, Scorpion Amber Ale, Desert Magic IPA, Belgian Style White Ale and Raspberry Wheat.
The dishes featured will be “off the menu” selections, according to restaurant owner Anthony Serrano. Courses include a seven-layer salsa, an heirloom-tomato-and-Oaxaca-cheese salad with strawberry habanero dressing, steamed mahi mahi tacos, shrimp-chicken-steak kebabs, and raspberry beer-infused flan.
El Palacio took first place in five categories at the 2012 Arizona Taco Festival. It’s at 2950 E. Germann Road, Chandler. Visit EPchandler.com for information, or call (480) 802-5770 for reservations.
