More than 50 food trucks from Arizona, California and Nevada will dish out everything from comfort classics to gourmet grabs Jan. 25-26 at Street Eats, the top food event at Salt River Fields.

Trucks include California’s Devilicious (of TV fame), The Grilled Cheese Truck, Tom’s Pig Rig and mobile offerings from brick-and-mortar eateries Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers and Native Grill & Wings.

But there’s more to do than fill your stomach: Expect live music from School of Rock, a kids zone, cooking demonstrations, and an array of eating contests involving Twinkies, hot dogs, pie and saltine crackers.

Street Eats will be held 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Salt River Fields, 7555 N. Pima Road, Scottsdale. Admission is $12; children 12 and younger get in free. VIP tickets are $50 and include a voucher for six drinks, four food tokens and access to Degree 270, the 14th-floor lounge at Talking Stick Resort. Parking is free. For information, visit SaltRiverFields.com.
