If you’ve been confused about where to get your Pittsburgh Willy’s hot dog fix, owner Randy Walters is reaching out with some answers.

The man behind the popular eatery tells fans on Facebook that, due to a detached retina, there’s been a delay in opening Pittsburgh Willy’s new location, planned for downtown Chandler.

The original Pittsburgh Willy’s at Merchant Square Antique Mall closed earlier this year, and Walters opened Wimpy’s Paradise, which serves burgers and ice cream. He says patrons can get Pittsburgh Willy’s hot dogs — such as the Pittsburgher, the Chicago and the Twilly — at Wimpy’s, at 48 S. San Marcos Place in Chandler, until the new Willy’s opens.

“My eye surgeries forced some time table changes, but soon we will have both locations to serve your culinary cravings for good old comfort food and customer service,” he writes on Facebook.

Customers may call Wimpy’s for information at (480) 821-3197.
