As if Orange Sky’s 360-degree views of firey Valley sunsets wasn’t enough to make it a go-to special occasion restaurant, its wine list commands attention, too.
The restaurant on the 15th floor at Talking Stick Resort has received Wine Spectator magazine’s Award of Excellence. It’s the second year the restaurant has earned the award.
Orange Sky is featured in the magazine’s Aug. 31 edition, along with other restaurants offering at least 100 wines appropriate to their cuisine. The restaurant’s 275 bottles and 30 wines by the glass are displayed in a dramatic glass wine room and on cedar wood wine racks that surround the sommelier table — something to take in if you ever tire of gazing out the floor-to-ceiling windows.
