Wine dinners are old hat. Tequila dinners aren’t uncommon. And we’ve even managed to wrap our minds around the gourmet donut and craft beer pairings at Il Vinaio in downtown Mesa.
Now Chandler’s El Palacio restaurant is introducing the “For the Love of Tacos” beer dinner. The four-course meal features several tacos, including a chocolate taco stuffed with sautéed bananas, apples, strawberries, coconut and fried mint leaves and topped with ice cream. The meal will be paired with a variety of Mexican beers, including Modelo Light, Victoria and Negro Modelo.
Dinner is at 7 p.m. Dec. 12 at the restaurant, 2950 E. Germann Road. The cost is $30 per person. Reservations are required at (480) 802-5770.
