Hollywood beauty Ginger Rogers danced her way into audiences’ hearts in the arms of Fred Astaire, setting the gold standard for grace and elegance on the silver screen. “Backwards in High Heels,” a new musical whose title is taken from the saying that Ginger did everything Fred did — only backwards and in high heels — follows the real-life story of the small-town Texas girl who grew up to dazzle the world.
