A: Star of India in Ahwatukee (Phoenix). MiDo Sushi in Chandler. China Magic Noodle House (Chandler). Zorba’s Greek Café (Chandler). Joe’s Farm Grill in Gilbert. Pita Jungle in Chandler. Swaddee Thai in Chandler.
Q: What are your favorite things to order at Star of India?
A: Chicken tikka masala or chicken fraizee — extra spicy. Lamb korma. Garlic naan. We love the robust flavors of everything on their menu.
Q: What else do you like about Star of India?
A: The service and atmosphere is better than any Indian restaurant we’ve ever tried; they know you by name.
Q: What do you like about some of the other restaurants you’ve mentioned?
A: China Magic Noodle House does local Chinese grub at its very best. They do made-to-order hand-stretched noodles. Pita Jungle has a cool vibe and the best hummus we’ve ever had. We love the variety of healthy food, and it’s a great date night location.
