There’s still time to catch hold of a little holiday cheer before the season has come and gone.
Take, for example, the Sounds of Christmas, a variety show backed by a live band playing Friday at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Mesa.
While Dickens’ familiar “A Christmas Carol” unfolds on the main stage (and several others around the Valley), a group of spirited performers entertain with a sleigh full of upbeat numbers in the venue’s Marquee Theatre.
It’s also a chance to enjoy a holiday dinner — one that you don’t have to prep for or clean up after. The menu includes roasted turkey, honey ham and pot roast, along with sides such as mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, green beans almondine and sweet potato casserole. Bread, salads, desserts and ice cream complete the feast.
