Some say Amy Grant put contemporary Christian music on the map, starting with her 1982 album “Age to Age,” the genre’s first to reach platinum status. But Grant is more widely known to mainstream audiences for crossover pop hits of the late 1980s and early 1990s, such as “Baby Baby” and “Every Heartbeat,” and to country music fans for collaborations with her husband, Vince Gill.
