Taste of the Nation comes to Scottsdale

More than 20 of the Valley’s best restaurants will showcase their cuisine while raising money to fight hunger at the annual Taste of the Nation event Saturday at the Scottsdale Culinary Institute’s Skywalk campus in the Scottsdale Galleria.

The event includes wine pairings and an expansive auction. Christopher Gross of Christopher’s Fermier will be the chef chairman of the event, which also features Zinc Bistro, Furio, Remington’s at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort, the Golden Swan at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort, Elements, Furio, Acacia at The Four Seasons and Marco Polo Supper Club.

Proceeds will benefit local charities dedicated to fighting hunger and poverty. Charities and food banks include: Share Our Strength, Waste Not, Westside Food Bank and United Food Bank.

Tickets are available in advance or at the door.

When: 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday

Cost: $75 per person or $100 per couple
